Installation Procedure

To install the Storage Module kit, follow these steps:

1. Open the chassis. For more information, refer to Opening the Chassis.
2. Insert the Storage Module at an angle into its socket, aligning the notch on the Storage Module with the socket key.
   Caution

   Do not touch the gold connectors or circuit components on the Storage Module.

   

3. Push down the outer edge of the Storage Module into place.

   

4. Install the screw to secure the Storage Module to the Motherboard.

   

5. Close the chassis. For more information, refer to Closing the Chassis.
