Generating Store Reports
The following POS terminal-level and store-level reports can be generated and printed from the POS application:
- Terminal Totals—generates a report of the tender totals of a POS terminal.
- Store Financial Summary—generates a report of the tender data and financial transactions for a store on the current business date.
- Custom Reports—generates specific customized reports related to store sales and operations.
The reports can be viewed using one of the following methods:
- By viewing the generated report on the POS screen.
- By printing a copy of the report in receipt format.
Note
For the POS application to print reports, the Windows printer property in the DeviceManager.xml file must be enabled. For more information, refer to Configuring the Device Manager File.
Configurable features
The Reports screen can be configured with the following features.
- Display the This Terminal’s Totals button. The Terminal Totals report can be further customized as specified by a retailer. To customize this report, consult with an NCR Representative. This report can also be made unavailable on the Reports screen. Refer to the following option:
- Menu Buttons > Enable Terminal Totals Button
- Display the Store Financial Summary button. This report can also be made unavailable on the Reports screen. Refer to the following option:
- Menu Buttons > Enable Store Financial Summary Button
- Display the Custom Reports button. This report can be made available on the Reports screen. Refer to the following option:
