Tax Exemption Rules

Name An alphanumeric value from zero to 20 characters.

A user-defined name for the Tax Exemption Rule.

Process Type

A list with the following options:

  • Exempt
  • Percent Reduction
  • Exempt All
  • Rate Reduction
 Specifies the type of operation to be applied on the tax.
Process Value An alphanumeric value from zero to 20 characters or blank.

Specifies the value to process in the exemption, if needed. This value is used for rule modification or computation.

Sample values:

  • 1,2
  • 10
Rule Id An alphanumeric value from zero to 20 characters or blank.

A unique identifier for the tax exemption rule.

Sample values:

  • ExemptAll
  • RemoveGST
  • AdjustGST
Tax Code Id An alphanumeric value from zero to 20 characters or blank.

Specifies the tax class to which a tax exemption rule is applied.

Sample values:

  • blank
  • GST
