Introduction

Overview

The NCR Lean Receipt Utility application enables configuring special settings in the firmware to modify print data sent from any application that provides the following two main functions:

• Paper reduction
• Power reduction

Paper reduction

The paper reduction function prevents paper wastes and reduces paper usage. This function is configured with the following settings:

• Remove upper space
• Remove lower space
• Line space reduction
• Line feed reduction
• Barcode height reduction
• Registered logo removal
• Force single high font
• Remove lines containing only space

Power reduction

The power reduction function reduces the printer power consumption. This function is configured with the following settings:

• Bold font removal
• Force single wide font
• No white/Black reverse printing
• Stand-by mode
• Power off time
• Speed reduction
• Density reduction
