Removing 7350 Components

To remove and replace internal cables, access to the back of the NCR SelfServ Checkout unit is required. If the unit is against a wall or a magazine/food rack, pull out the entire unit from this area in order to access the back panel/cables.

Note:  Please ask assistance from store personnel when pulling out units and when placing them back into the lane location after completing the upgrade.

To upgrade older NCR SelfServ Checkout units to R6 Lite, remove the following components:

•DVD ROM Drive (if existing in the current unit)

• Display

•E-Box

•Cooling Fan

•7350 Tri-Light/Lane Light Assembly

Caution:  Before removing the components, ensure that the NCR SelfServ Checkout unit is properly turned off. For more information, refer to Disconnecting Power.
